Gramat Street

Rue Gramat is known for its numerous frescoes and graffiti that are part of a collective project. Historically, the Arnaud-Bernard district is the one through which tagging and graffiti arrived in Toulouse, in 1997 with the creations of young people such as Mosquito, Tilt, Soune, Tober, Cee. Even today, their tags - meaning their artists' names - are respected in the milieu and known as far away as the United States. Rue Gramat remains a discreet sanctuary still frequented by street-art artists.
